Cultivando o Amanhã is a social action for citriculture sustainability that seeks to involve the population of citrus-growing cities in raising awareness about the relevance of the citrus crop to the economy of these places and the destructive power of citrus greening (huanglongbing/HLB), stressing the importance of community engagement in external actions to fight the disease, that is, in the replacement of unmanaged citrus plants and orange jasmine, which are attractive to the insect vector of citrus greening, with other fruit and ornamental species.
