Referente ao relatório “Salário de Bem-Estar para o setor de laranja no Estado de São Paulo, Brasil”
Como parte do estudo sobre salário de Bem-Estar encomendado pela Juice CSR PLATFORM parao setor de laranja no Estado de São Paulo, várias entrevistas foram realizadas com atores da cadeia produtiva, incluindo o FUNDECITRUS em 05 de fevereiro de 2020. Durante o encontro, o FUNDECITRUS informou aos visitantes que atuava exclusivamente no desenvolvimento de pesquisas relacionadas à fitossanidade das plantas cítricas e estimativa de safra.
A versão original do relatório publicado em www.globallivingwage.org fez várias referências ao FUNDECITRUS. Os autores acreditam que essas referências sejam factíveis. As mesmas não significam que o FUNDECITRUS esteja envolvido em qualquer forma no financiamento, pesquisa ou endosso do relatório, ou atividade relativa a salários.
No entanto, para evitar possíveis interpretações errôneas e em reconhecimento ao transtorno causado, comprometemo-nos a revisar o relatório, excluindo todas as referências ao FUNDECITRUS.
Ademais, assim que o relatório for revisado, iremos reencaminhá-lo a todas as partes interessadas no Brasil com uma breve explicação de que as edições foram feitas a pedido do FUNDECITRUS, e solicitaremos que apenas usem e distribuam o relatório editado. Faremos o mesmo na Europa com todos os membros da JUICE CSR PLATFORM. Forneceremos ao FUNDECITRUS uma cópia desta carta.

Re: The Living Wage report into the orange sector in São Paolo State, Brazil
As part of the Living Wage study commissioned by the Juice CSR PLATFORM into the orange sector in São Paolo State, several interviews took place with supply chain actors, including FUNDECITRUS on 05 February 2020. During the meeting, FUNDECITRUS notified the visiting party that it works exclusively in research development related to citrus plant health and crop estimation.
The initial Living Wage report uploaded on www.globallivingwage.org made several references to FUNDECITRUS. The authors believe these references to be factual. They did not imply that FUNDECITRUS is envolved in any shape or form in the funding, research or endorsement of the report, or activity concerning wages.
However, to avoid any possible misinterpretation and in recognition of the inconvenience caused, we hereby commit to revising the report, omitting all references to FUNDECITRUS.
Furthermore, as soon as the report has been revised, we will resend it to all stakeholders in Brazil with a short explanation that edits have been at the behest of FUNDECITRUS, and request that they only use and distribute the edit report. We will do the same in Europe with all members of the JUICE CSR PLATFORM. We will provide FUNDECITRUS with a copy of this letter.
We trust you will find these actions in order and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused the association.
